ERIE APARTMENT TOUR

Hi!! I had recently mentioned that I was going to be giving a photo tour of my apartment, because these  spring/summer months I am going to devote some time to sprucing the place up, and making it generally more pretty and cozy.

My roommate Michelle and I rent a two bedroom apartment in Erie, PA (where we go to school) and it is pretty nice inside. Except for the fact that everything is white and plastic. But not the good kind of either.

We have been here for almost a year, and have done very little decorating except in our own rooms. Since we will be here for another year, I am taking it upon myself to craft, clean and generally DIY it up! Since I will be sharing this with everyone, you need to know what it looks like now.

This is the entry way. Plain and boring. The outside of the door is red though! That's pretty cool!

This is the living room, full of mismatched furniture that we inherited and some that I thrifted. I have big plans for that TV cabinet, and to let you in on a little secret, that brown velour love seat... has black and white hounds tooth underneath! The decorations are alright, but they are very college-y, which I'm not feeling anymore.

This is our "dining area." There is a ceiling fan that you can't really see. It's being masked by the giant wall of mirrors that I know everyone is jealous of.

This is the wonderful kitchen. It is pretty small, but pretty average as far as kitchens go.

This is the hallway going from the living room to the bathroom and our bedrooms. I am not going to show you the bathroom, because it is very average, and I think it is cute for what we have. However this white tunnel needs some color.

Then we get to this beauty:

This is my bedroom, and I am in love with it. It is (obviously) my favorite room in the apartment, and I have made it my personal goal in the last few weeks of school to cover the walls with happy and pretty things. As you can tell, I am obsessed with the color purple, but I think to cover my walls, I need to expand my color palette.

I also just put this baby on my door last night, so now everyone who comes here knows that this is Alex's room and she likes to read.

Well that is all for now!
