SYMPHONY SUNDAY: CLAIR DE LUNE

Hello everyone! This is a piece many people may recognize, especially since it has been featured in a lot of movies recently (ahem...Twilight).

This is "Clair de Lune" by Claude Debussy. This clip is actually a deleted scene from Disney's Fantasia, which I thought was really neat, cause it has lots of cool animation of the moon and nature.

This is the third movement of "Suite bergamasque," one of his most famous and beautiful piano suites. Seriously, I love it. It is so beautiful and romantic, and it just gives you a feeling of serenity.

No wonder Stephanie Meyer chose this for Twilight :)

Though many people are more familiar with the piano version of this piece, I decided to post the symphonic version, because it is something a little different.
