In honor of black Friday, it is time to start decorating for Christmas. I firmly believe that the Christmas season does not begin until after Thanksgiving. One of the projects I made this year was a simple garland of paint chips.

Because I am addicted to paint chips, I decided to get some red and green ones-- originally I was going to make cards out of them.

I glued the chips to paper, so that they would have a back, and would be a little bit stronger. Then I punched a hole in the top of each one. I strung them on a yarn, and simply hung them over the window.

This was an easy project to do, and cost me nothing. It is a different, simple decoration for the holidays. You could do this for any holiday really, by just changing the color of the paint chips.
