Last Minute Ideas to Wear on Halloween

If you are anything like me, you just realized that Halloween was this week. I woke up on Monday and realized that it was the end of October. I feel like it was just yesterday that all of blogland was full of those Anne of Green Gables quotes.

So since I'm such a procrastinator, I spent a bunch of hours looking at Pinterest yesterday looking for ideas to kick my Halloween game up a notch or two. There are some different levels of commitment here. I know everyone isn't willing to wear a cotume to the office (and I don't blame you, I'm not!), so you might just want to paint your nails, or wear a cute hairdo. Scary or cute, it's up to you!

Commitment Level One | Accessories

For an easy way to add some spook to your Halloween look, try skull nails! This would look great in a bright purple, but I might be partial.

Thisspider web fascinator would be the best finishing touch to any outfit, or perfect alone! It is easily made with wire. The spider is the best part!

For more of a cute Halloween look, try this orange tipped nail look. Reminiscent of Frankenstein, it is a subtle reminder of the spooky day.

Commitment Level Two | Hair

If you want to be as pretty as a princess this Halloween, add this dutch braid to  your costume. This is perfect for costumes such as Queen Elsa, Rapunzel, Katniss Everdeen, or anyone else who wears their hair in a braid.

Now, here is where we get crazy. If you want to dress like Medusa, simply braid an updo (in my opinion, the messier the better) and weave some dollar store snakes through. Bonus points if you paint the snakes silver, because that would look really cool.

Minnie Mouse is everyone's favorite! Make two sock buns on the top of your head and use red bows as an accent. Make sure to smile!

Commitment Level Three | Make Up

A blue smoky eye will give you the look you want to be the Queen of the Nile. To complete the look add bold eyeliner, a nude lip, and pile on the gold jewelry!

You can be the queen of the jungle with this easy make up. Highlight your brow bone, nose and chin, and give yourself a nose and tear ducts with black eyeliner. Pink lips finish the look!

Swipe on some colored tribal make up and you can go dressed as a Native American this Halloween. A beaded headdress, feathers and fringe tie the look together.

These are just a few of the thousands of ideas that are out there on the internet. If you are looking for the source, they are in the link below the photo. Please let me know if you have any last minute ideas to wear on Halloween, I'd love to hear them!
