September & October Beauty Empties

This post contains affiliate links.

Another couple of months gone by, and I have used up another bunch of beauty products. I find that I am not a person who uses products very fast. Hence why I am writing these every other month. I think that's working for me, so we will stick with it.

However, in December I will most likely do a purge of a bunch of my makeup and other products, to get the year off on a good, clean start. So get ready for a BIG empties/I'm done with this post. Maybe I'll try a video!

September & October Beauty Empties

St Ives Apricot Scrub | Blemish Control - This product was very good for when my face needed some good exfoliation. It took me a while to get through it, because it's honestly a little rough for my face, and I could probably only use a little dab once a week. It smelled very nice though.

Covergirl Bombshell Volume By Lashblast Mascara | Very Black - I've heard others who loved this mascara. I actually really like the two-step method, after using Younique for a while. I thought that this would be a fair "b-team" mascara, but it is not. It made my lashes sticky and clumpy, and it was really hard to remove. I thought it might be a really stubborn waterproof formula, but this is the regular formula. Needless to say, I'm not finishing the tube.

Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain & Balm | Victorian - I love this stain and I've had it forever. Remember when I mentioned that I love the "your lips, but better" look? Well this gives you that. And it's a stain, so you don't have to worry about reapplying. My only complaint is that I ran out of the balm really fast, and the stain lasted much longer. But I usually just add a little balm or gloss of my own if I want- it really doesn't even need it.

Josie Maran 100 percent Pure Argan Oil Light - I have probably mentioned this 100 times on this blog (here, here, here). I LOVED using this product. I am so glad that I got the Argan Oil Light, because I think the regular might be too heavy for my skin. I used this as a moisturizer, especially around my eyes, and for a whole bunch of different things. Go buy this right now, you won't regret it.

Sally Hansen Eyelash Curler - This is a basic eyelash curler. I've had it for a long time. I think I got it at Walgreens or something when I really started getting into makeup. It was time for a new one a while ago, so I picked a similar one up, realized how long this one had probably been broken, and then never threw this one out for some reason (LAZY!). Ladies- if you are pinching your eye on the reg- get a new curler!

Sephora Collection Sleeping Masks | Rose - This was sent to me as a gift, and it was amazing!! I am not usually a fan of rose scent, but the scent and texture of this mask are very light, and the benefits are worth it. These are $4 each at Sephora, and they also come in a gift pack ($20 for 6 masks), so they are so worth the price. I am definitely going to pick up some different ones to try them out. Probably green tea next!

Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder | 011 Creamy Natural - I mentioned this in my post about my every day makeup, and have since reordered it! I actually ordered the color 001 Transparent from a suggestion, and I like it even better! This powder is great to set makeup, and if you have any oily, super shiny zones (mine is my chin) you will definitely want to brush some on. It has great staying power.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Deep Clean Cream Cleanser - This is another product that took me a while to use, but I'm not sure why. I love Neutrogena's products. I really like the creaminess of the cleanser on my face, especially when I have any breakout zones. I went to the store to purchase this again, but I found another cleanser by Neutrogena to try, so you'll have to stay tuned.

What products have you tried, used and liked this month?
