January & February Beauty Empties

I used up WAY less stuff over the past two months than I usually do. However, I have been trying a lot of samples out, which I’ve decided to not include much in these posts, because I don’t always get an accurate view of a product.

In January and February I tried lots of new face products. I’m on an ongoing hunt for the best moisturizer for my skin, and so far it has been going alright but not great. If anyone has any recommendations for oily-combination skin, please let me know!

Side note, I love that Sephora offers more gift packs than they ever used to. It makes trying things so much easier and cheaper.

Ole Henrikson Sheer Transformation Moisturizer - This was an awesome lightweight moisturizer. Something like this is perfect for the daytime, when you want something light under your makeup. The price is pretty high for a full size of this, so I think I am going to keep searching.

Ole Henrikson Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster - I love this stuff. I put it on in the morning, and notice a big difference in the brightness and firmness of the skin on my face. It smells like oranges too.

Sephora Collection Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner | Matte Dark Smoky Grey – I love the Sephora Collection cosmetics. I use the black liner religiously, but when I want a little bit of a softer look on my eyes, I will line the top of my eyes with the dark grey.

Hair Food Moisturizing Hair Mask – This is a hair mask that kind of works like a conditioner. I honestly didn’t notice a difference between using this and using a good conditioner. It smells very good though, and it makes your hair very silky.
*I received this product for review from Influenster.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes – These are the best makeup wipes. I recently (and stupidly) strayed to a generic brand when I was at the grocery store. They were not as wet as the Neutrogena wipes, and they didn’t seem to get my eye makeup off. I love that I can use one Neutrogena wipe and get a whole face of makeup off.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser DarkCircle Treatment Concealer | NeutralizerI used this for a LONG time. It is very buildable, and great for covering under eye circles. It is light, and doesn’t make your skin oily. The only thing that I didn’t like about this product is that after a while, the applicator tip gets kind of yucky. I’m not sure if you can wash it, but that would be awesome.

Maybelline Fit Me Blush | Light RoseThis is another product that I’ve had forever. It seems very light in the package, but it gives you a very nice blush. It fits very well with my cool skin tone.

Rimmel London ScandalEyes Thick and ThinLinerEvery so often, I am in the mood to do a winged liner. I love when liquid liners  come in a marker, because it is so easy to apply. This liner has a great formula, and the chiseled tip is great for making a variety of line thicknesses.

Nexxus Humectress Ultimate MoisturizingConditionerI LOVE this conditioner. It kind of smells like banana bread to me, and it makes my hair very silky without weighing it down. It’s so odd, because I had an allergic reaction to another version of Nexxus hair products, but I don’t with this one. I would definitely purchase this again.
