#Currently...

Since I missed Awkward and Awesome two months in a row (I suck.), I felt that it was time to do a little currently post. Y'all know that there have been some major changes in my life lately, and I just don't even know where to start. My head is all over the place. I thought a currently post would be a good place to start.

Currently I'm...

Reading: Still working on Outlander! It is good, but SO long. Check out what I read in August. I am still only 2 books ahead of my goal pace, and that is just too few for this chick! I am still working on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child during my lunch breaks, and then just started The Girl from the Paradise Ballroom by Allison Love.

Munching On: Lots and lots of popcorn. I have been craving salty snacks this month, and popcorn seems to be the healthiest alternative. I recently tried Boom Chicka Pop kettle corn, and guys... my life is now changed for the better. I can't wait to go grocery shopping and pick up a case of the individual sized serving bags. Or should I buy them on Amazon??

Deciding: Between investing in a Yeti Tumbler, or a S'well Bottle. My old water tumbler from Starbucks started to break, and then one day got lost, and I am in need of something new. I love how the Swell bottles look, but I really like to drink ice water out of a straw. And I could always order a decal or something for a Yeti, but a Swell bottle would fit better in my bag. #firstworldproblems

Pinning: Different hair cuts, because guys, I am getting my hair cut tomorrow! I have been growing it for almost 2 years, and I can't wait to have it shorter again. I'm thinking a lob, since that cut made me look more mature (I need it. I work at a college...), and was still stylish. Hopefully a new stylist can make my hair desires come true.

Sipping On: Lots of water with lemon. We got a whole bag of lemons last week for $1, and I have been adding them to my water since then. The more tart it is the better. I've been reading lots of articles about the benefits of lemon water, so I had to jump in.

Waiting For: FALL. It is starting to get cooler at night here in Pittsburgh, and it makes me so excited for the fall season. #PSL, boots, sweaters... sign me up for it all. I haven't gotten my first PSL yet, but let me tell you.... it's coming soon.

Trying Out: I recently got to try the Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer, and I am hooked. When the weather starts to get cooler, my combination-oily skin starts to feel drier. Without fail, I always slather on (the wrong kind) moisturizer, and then without a doubt I get a pimple. But this Valentia moisturizer is so light and soaks into my skin so nicely, that I haven't had that problem this year. I love using skin products that use natural ingredients AND give you the results you are looking for. Valentia is a cruelty free company, and their products are all made using sustainable energy. I have heard awesome things about their other products too, and might have to try out some serum or eye cream in the future!

Wearing: Leggings all day err day. I love to dress up occasionally, but in this girl's world, comfort is king. Dave even made a comment the other day, asking how many days per week I was going to wear leggings to work (#hater). But please don't tell me leggings are not pants, because I do. not. care. I love them, and I wish I had more of them. It's now to the point where I'm considering buying a pair of those legging/dress pants.

Buying: I'm looking into buying some business cards for my blog! I've been finding myself in need of something, and I am tired of just writing my URL down on a scrap of paper. Time to be an adult. Does anyone have recommendations for some cute & affordable options?

Craving: Fresh fruit cobbler. I made one for Labor Day that had strawberries, blueberries and blackberries, and it was flipping delicious.

Excited For: My Caroline is coming to visit us this weekend!! My mom and I are meeting half way between our houses, eating dinner and making the trade. Care and I are planning to go to the Pittsburgh Zoo, and probably eat our weights in frozen yogurt. She can't wait to sleep on our new couch (weirdo...), and I just can't wait to see her face!

What are you up to currently? Are you getting ready for fall? Any big plans this weekend?
