Recent Beauty Haul

This month has been tough. I feel like we are moving at 1000 miles an hour, and I don't see where it will slow down much in the next few months. Which is totally okay! I like being busy more than being bored, but sometimes that means this blog has to take a back seat.

I've been trying out lots of good beauty products lately, so I thought I'd share with you! Since I had a birthday in December, I decided to treat myself a little bit at Ulta and Sephora. Check out what I got below! (This post does contain affiliate links).

Urban Decay Cosmetics Eyeshadow | Midnight Cowboy - This was my birthday gift from Ulta and I love the shade. I think Urban Decay has some of the prettiest eyeshadows (the Naked2 Palette is my holy grail), and I've never had a single. My only qualm with this shadow is that it is a tad sparkly, which makes it a little much for everyday/all day.

NYX HD Finishing Powder | Banana - I swapped the loose, clear powder for this pressed powder in the shade banana, and I love it. There isn't so much product wasted, and the banana functions as a brightener. I am going to stick with this through the dull winter months.

Lipstick Queen Frog Prince Lipstick - Y'all. This is my new favorite lipstick EVER. My SIL got me a trial set for my birthday that included this shade, Hello Sailor, and Medieval. I use this lipstick probably every day for a subtle, pink tone. I had to purchase this in the full size.

Yes to Coconut Hydrate & Restore Ultra Hydrating Sheet Mask - Even though I have somewhat oily/combination skin, it's gotten pretty dry in the Pittsburgh Winter. I tried this mask after a good cleansing with my Clarisonic, and it STUNG. I couldn't handle keeping the sheet mask on my face, so I took it off, wrung it out, and rubbed the serum on my face, which was much better. Maybe it was because I had just cleaned my face? Who knows, but I don't want to buy this again.

Freeman Beauty Infusion Cleansing Clay Mask with Charcoal + Probiotics - I love using charcoal masks to clean out my pores, and this one worked really well. I was able to use this travel size twice, and each time I had a bright, cleansed face.

Lavanila Sport Luxe Deodorant - This was suggested by my girl Lindsay for a more natural, healthy deodorant that doesn't contain aluminum. I picked this up at Sephora and chose to spring for the Sport Luxe product because ya girl can sweat. So far this is pretty good, but it does not contain antiperspirant, which I had to get used to.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion | Anti-Aging - I have never really used an eye primer before, but wow does it make a difference. I previously tried this as a sample, and love that it has a slight tint, but no shimmer. While I do enjoy the Sin shade, I don't always want that ALL over my eyes.

Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer - I included this because I just picked up a bunch of samples to test out against the E.L.F. mineral infused primer. Honestly... I think they are preeeety similar. Enough so that I would rather stick with the E.L.F. brand just for the price.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser - This was my birthday gift from Sephora, and I personally think it is just alright. I don't feel like it cleans my skin exceptionally well, but it is VERY gentle. I might give this more of a try in the summer.

Fresh Rose Face Mask - This was also in my birthday gift from Sephora, and I really don't like it. The smell is overwhelming, and I feel like it leaves skin sticky. I would never purchase this.
